The Windmill: Tower Mill in 1805 appears to have replaced an earlier postmill. It is believed the mill ceased working in or around 1929, probably on the death of John Chivers, the owner.

The last miller was Mark Wilson.

The new owners Pippa & Steve Temple have spent a lot of time and energy lovingly refurbishing and restoring this outstanding and magnificent windmill. The work still goes on as a labour of love for them.
